Board of Directors
Executive Director
Dr. Genevieve Kumapley received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is married with three children, one of the diagnosed with Autism. She is a passionate advocate for families and individuals with Autism. She is committed to providing family support and resources to those on the journey of Autism. Dr. Kumapley is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist and practices at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She also holds an Adjunct Clinical Professor appointment with Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.
President
Reverend Loraine Priestley-Smith serves as Clergy in the United Methodist Church. She has served as Chaplain at Matheny Medical and Educational Center (a residential/educational facility for individuals diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.) Pastor Loraine holds a Masters Degree in Divinity; and brings more than 20 years professional experience in Human Resources from the Ford Foundation. She and her husband are the blessed parents of two adult sons.
Vice President
Pastor Jide Lawore is the Lead Pastor of Agape House of Worship, Roselle NJ. He is a bi-vocational Pastor and also works as a Senior Project Control Engineer with a leading Engineering and Construction firm in the NY area. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is happily married to his wife, Bola and they are blessed with three lovely children.
Treasurer
Fola Fapohunda, CPA is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Capital Street Group, a global private equity firm based in NJ. Fola has over 6 years experience in finance, particularly in the consumer banking, corporate card, controllership and most recently the global network business, responsible for transaction advisory, deal negotiation & regulatory reporting. Mr. Fapohunda holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Delaware. He is a CPA and an active supporter of various local charities. He is married to his beautiful wife, Ayo.
Secretary
Dina Conrad has over 17 years experience in Trust and Estate Planning, specializing in the area of charitable trusts and foundations. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Rutgers University. She is married and blessed with two children.
Robert Kumapley is a Professional Engineer and holds a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He is a Lead Design Engineer in the Bridge division in a non-governmental Agency in the New York/New Jersey metro area. He is happily married to his wife, Genevieve and the proud father of Nicholas, Sena and Delali.
Dr. Steven Bier, MD attendedmedical school through the Sophie Davis Biomedical Center which services the poor and minority populations of NYC. Dr. Bier graduated from Mt Sinai Radiology Residency. He received his Fellowship Abdominal Imaging at Columbia Presbyterian. He has published numerous articles and also a book on Radiology. Dr. Bier published his first CME material in the American Academy of Radiology for teaching residents radiological signs of Autism.
Tunji Olatubosun is an Information Technology professional. He has over 12 years experience as a UNIX systems administrator and multimedia consultant. He served in the U.S. army and National Guard for 7 years. He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom where he received the Army Achievement Medal. Mr. Olatubosun holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is married to his lovely wife, Brenda and they are blessed with 3 children.
Dr. Barbie Zimmerman-Bier,MD is the Chief of the Division of Child Development at the Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital. Dr. Zimmerman-Bier has a large clinical practice dedicated to the assessment and management of children with Autism spectrum disorders. She has been a leader in New Jersey's efforts to create clinical centers dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Zimmerman-Bier was recently appointed to the New Jersey State Governor's Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism. Dr. Zimmerman-Bier previously served as Vice President of the Federation of Child Evaluation Centers in New Jersey was the recipient of one of the first six Clinical Enhancement Grants for Autism. She is currently a Co- Investigator on a NIMH funded genetic study evaluating the broader Autism phenotype. She is board certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr Zimmerman-Bier is also the mother of four children; the oldest (age 20) has Autism.
